The Canadian province of Manitoba may have a brand new space code beginning November 3, 2012. The brand new space code 431 will overlay NPA 204 at present overlaying the entire province of Manitoba with cities equivalent to Winnipeg, Steinbach, Thompson, Winkler. Beginning July 29, 2012 carriers working on this space can select to precede all calls with an announcement notifying callers that native calls needs to be dialed utilizing the ten digit format. 10 digit dialing will change into necessary on November 3.
